Royal Caribbean – will use Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale) as the homeport for two of its new Genesis-class ships. The first vessel will arrive in the fall of 2009, with the second ship coming a year later. The line has agreed to invest more than $37 million to expand and update the port’s Terminal 18.
