requirements of the Western
Hemisphere Travel Initiative will
be implemented on June 1, 2009,
which will require all travelers
returning to the U.S. from Canada,
Mexico, the Caribbean and
Bermuda—including those who go
by land or sea—to have a passport
or other federally approved ID.
